Together we refer to these as "cookies" in this policy. They let us keep you signed in, remember your choices, and — only with your consent — understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

We group the cookies and similar technologies we use into two categories:

Strictly necessary (always on): These are required for the Service to work and do not need consent. They include your sign-in session (provided by our authentication service, Supabase), a small flag that records whether you're using our mobile app, and a cookie that remembers your analytics choice below (so we don't ask again).
Analytics (only with your consent): We use Google Analytics (cookies named _ga and _ga_*) and PostHog (cookies and local storage entries named ph_*) to measure visits and how features are used, so we can improve the Service. PostHog also records your account identifier once you sign in, so we can count how many people use the Service and whether they return. Neither is loaded until analytics is enabled — see section 3.

3. Analytics & Your Choices

We never load analytics cookies without a lawful basis for doing so, and you can change your mind at any time:

On the website: analytics stay switched off until you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner. Choosing "Reject" keeps them off. No analytics cookies are set before you decide.
In our mobile apps: analytics are enabled by default (this is disclosed here and in the App Store and Google Play privacy information), and you can switch them off at any time.
To change your choice on any platform, go to Account settings → Privacy and toggle "Usage analytics". One toggle governs both providers, and turning it off stops analytics immediately.
Google Analytics is provided by Google and PostHog is provided by PostHog, whose EU-hosted service we use; your use of them is also subject to those companies' own privacy policies. We do not use either for advertising, and we do not have PostHog's session recording feature switched on.

4. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

In addition to the controls above, you can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop you from signing in or using parts of the Service, and clearing cookies will reset your analytics choice.
