By accessing or using the Own The League platform ("Service"), including our website and mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. NO GAMBLING / ENTERTAINMENT ONLY

Own The League is strictly a fantasy sports and social prediction platform for entertainment purposes only.

We are NOT a gambling platform, bookmaker, or wagering service.
We are NOT affiliated, endorsed, or partnered with any gambling operators or betting sites.
There is NO real money wagering, betting, or staking on this platform.
Points, badges, and leaderboards have NO cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency.
Any reference to 'odds' or 'payouts' simulates fantasy mechanics only and involves no real financial risk.

2A. Our Games and Leagues — Official Rules

Own The League LTD operates and administers every game on the Service. These are the official rules for all of them.

Own The League LTD is the sole sponsor and administrator of every game and league on the Service.
Entry is free. There is no entry fee, no stake and no purchase of any kind.
To enter, you need an Own The League account and you must be at least 13 years old. See section 3.
You enter a game by making your picks before the published deadline. Late or missing picks score zero.
We rank players by points. The scoring rules for each game decide the points. Each game shows its rules on its overview screen.
The player with the most points at the end of a game tops the leaderboard. The reward is the leaderboard position only. It has no cash value.
Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of any game or league on the Service. Apple is not involved with any of them in any way.
Google LLC is not a sponsor of any game or league on the Service. Google is not involved with any of them in any way.
A private league is a group of players inside one of our games. The member who creates it does not operate the game.
The Service pays no prize. Any private arrangement between members of a league is their own. It sits outside the Service. Own The League LTD, Apple and Google do not sponsor, administer or take part in it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By creating an account, you warrant that you meet this age requirement.

This Service is available to users of all ages 13 and older.
If you are under 18, we recommend obtaining parental consent before using online services.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Do not share your password with anyone.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

5. User Conduct

Own The League has NO TOLERANCE for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs the Service. Prohibited activities include:

Attempting to manipulate league results or game data.
Harassing, bullying, or threatening other users.
Using automated scripts or bots to access the Service.
Impersonating any person or entity.
Posting content that is infringing, libelous, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Using a display name, league name, or entry description that is offensive, obscene, hateful, or harassing.
Abusing, threatening, or targeting other users through any feature of the Service.

5A. Reporting, Blocking and Enforcement

We review all reports of objectionable content or abusive users. Where content or conduct breaches these Terms, we act promptly and decisively:

You can report content and block other users at any time from within the app.
Reported content that breaches these Terms is removed within 24 hours of the report.
The account responsible for content or conduct that breaches these Terms may be suspended or removed.
We may take this action without prior notice, at our sole discretion, to protect other users and the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to design, text, graphics, and code, are the exclusive property of Own The League and its licensors. You are granted a limited license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Own The League shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
Any content obtained from the Service.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
